Each original design is based on an historic Guernsey or Gansey design used by wives of fishermen to create warm working sweaters. My designs single out a pattern that is repeated instead of a mix of patterns with variations of an all over or border pattern. You’ll find arrow, checks, or knots, ribs and cables on the back and fronts bordered by various ladders pattern accents. Each is hand knit in 100% British, Shetland or Merino Wool that is soft, light weight, warm, resilient, and moisture wicking.
